SANUR BALI GUIDE

Sanur is a favourite Bali destination for families. It’s easy to get around, has a beautiful beach perfect for watching the sunrise, and offers a wide range of family-friendly activities. With calm waters, bike paths, and plenty of cafes and restaurants, Sanur is ideal for a relaxed Bali holiday with kids.

Sanur is located on the east coast of Bali, just a 20–30 minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. For families, it’s best to stay on the beach side of Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai, as crossing the road can be tricky with children.

Sanur is commonly divided into North and South areas. In North Sanur, you’ll find Sindhu Beach, Artasedana (formerly Hardy’s), and the Hyatt Regency Resort. South Sanur is home to a variety of restaurants, the Prama Resort and Mertasari Beach. The two areas are easy to explore on foot via the beach path, which makes it simple for families to enjoy both sides of Sanur.
