If you’re looking for a villa that actually puts kids first, Family Nest Experience Villas in Uluwatu is worth checking out. With private pools, dedicated play zones, a kids club, and thoughtful extras for parents, it’s a new family-friendly option in Bali that feels refreshing.
As soon as you pass through the entrance, you sense a difference: pathways lined with greenery, a quiet pace, and soft design touches that immediately feel welcoming for families. The reception area (with the massive LEGO wall to keep kids busy) hints at how this place was conceived: for parents and children.
In July 2025 we stayed at Family Nest Villas in Villa O a stunning four bedroom villa and our review shares what makes Family Nest different and why families will love it.

We stayed in Villa O during our July 2025 stay. It features four bedrooms, four bathrooms (one includes a bath), and a stunning living area with a full kitchen, dining table, sunken lounge (check if suitable for toddlers), and a powder room with a toilet and washing machine.
Please note: Parts of the Family Nest Villas estate are still under construction, and the current villa rates reflect this. During our stay, we experienced very little disturbance from the building work, it didn’t impact our stay at all.

Pangolin Kids Club
We absolutely loved the Pangolin Kids Club located a short 20m walk from the Family Nest lobby. It’s a fantastic indoor and outdoor play space designed to spark creativity and adventure for kids of all ages. The huge 1,000 m² area includes climbing zones, a Montessori-inspired playroom, a music and sensory corner, and plenty of imaginative play areas. The friendly team run a great mix of daily activities that keep kids entertained for hours, while parents can relax at the ATMOS spa.
The kids club is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm and welcomes children aged 0 to 14 years, with a soft play area perfect for toddlers and younger kids. Entry is via a day pass, which includes access for one child and one adult. They have also introduced a pass for the first hour, so your kids can test out the kids’ club. Guests staying at Family Nest Villas receive a 25% discount on the day pass price, making it an even better value for families.

Wellness for Parents
While the kids happily played at the Pangolin Kids Club, I took the chance to unwind at Atmos Steam Club & BodyLab at Family Nest Villas.
I highly recommend the massages; they were excellent quality and very reasonably priced. The therapists were professional, the atmosphere calm and the treatments genuinely rejuvenating.
From full-body massages and scrubs to steam and cold-plunge experiences, it’s an excellent way for parents to relax without leaving the property.
Tip: Book your massage while the kids are busy at the Kids Club, it’s the perfect window for a bit of self-care.

Location in Uluwatu
Family Nest Villas is tucked away in a quiet pocket of Uluwatu, offering a peaceful escape while still being close to everything you need. There is a mini-mart, money changer, laundry and coffee shop located in walking distance.

There aren’t a huge number of restaurants or shops within walking distance, but it’s only about a 5-minute drive to some great local cafes and restaurants. Grab cars are super easy to book through the app and usually arrive within minutes, making it simple to head out for meals or sightseeing. The front lobby area has plenty of space for cars to pull up, so pick-ups and drop-offs are quick and hassle-free, perfect when you’re travelling with kids.
A few of our favourite spots to eat and drink in Uluwatu:
- Milk and Madu
- The Cashew Tree Collective
- The Bench Brewery
- Ulu Fishmarket
- KALA Uluwatu
- Gabet’s Pub
- Gooseberry French Restaurant

One of the best things about staying at Family Nest Villas is how close you are to some of Uluwatu’s most beautiful beaches. Bingin Beach is the nearest and just a 5-minute drive or a 20 minute morning walk. It’s great for exploring at low tide and watching surfers catch waves. Bingin Beach has changed recently with the demolition of the local warungs and restaurants/hotels.
Dreamland Beach and Padang Padang Beach are also nearby, both offering clear water and soft sand. Thomas Beach is a workout with the kids with a lot of steps, but once you’re down it’s great for swimming or relaxing.
If you’re up for a bit of adventure, Melasti Beach and Balangan Beach are around 15 to 20 minutes away and worth the drive for their dramatic cliffs and calmer swimming spots. With Grab cars easy to book from the villa, beach-hopping around Uluwatu is a breeze for families.

Final Thoughts on Family Nest
Our review of Family Nest Experiences Villas Bali shows that this property is much more than just another villa stay; it’s a purpose-built family resort. From kids’ clubs and playgrounds to spa treatments and thoughtful family extras, every detail has been designed with parents and kids in mind.
The property is situated in a tranquil village-style environment, featuring leafy walking paths that are safe for kids and away from traffic. They are currently constructing more villas and a pool with waterslides across the road. It will be amazing once it is all completed.
If you’re travelling to Uluwatu with kids and want the comfort of a private villa with the perks of a family-friendly resort, Family Nest Experience is a fantastic choice.
